Common questions

What can I haul with Truked?

Pretty much anything that fits in a truck bed or cargo area. Furniture, appliances, lumber, boxes, equipment, and more. If you're not sure, describe it in the app and pick the closest size.

Does the driver do all the lifting?

It's one driver with one pickup truck, not a moving crew. Plan on you or a friend lifting the other end at pickup and at drop-off, since drivers can't carry large items alone. Want it brought inside? Turn on "Help bringing items inside" when you book (+$25, ground floor, nearest entrance).

Will the driver have a dolly or straps?

Many drivers carry straps and moving blankets, and some have a dolly, but it isn't guaranteed. If your item needs one, like a washer or fridge, say so in the item description so your driver comes prepared.

What size should I pick?

Small: a few boxes, bags or one chair. Medium: a dresser, washer or 4 to 6 boxes. Large: a couch, mattress or bike. XL: a full room of furniture or a pallet load. Not sure? Pick the size of your biggest piece and describe everything in the item description.

How fast can I get a delivery?

Most deliveries are same-day. Book for right now, or schedule ahead for a specific date and time.

How do I become a Truked driver?

Download the app, tap "Apply to Drive", and complete the 4-step application. You'll need your driver's license, truck details, insurance, and registration. We run a background check, and once approved, you can start accepting jobs immediately.

How do drivers get paid?

Drivers earn 85% of every fare plus 100% of tips. Payouts are sent to your bank account twice a week (Monday and Thursday) via Stripe. You can track your earnings in the app.

What if something gets damaged?

Every job is documented with photos at pickup and at delivery. If something is damaged during a delivery, file a claim in the app within 3 days. Approved claims are paid up to the lesser of the item's declared value or $5,000.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes! Once a trucker accepts your job, you can track their location in real-time on the map, see an estimated arrival time, and message them directly through the app.
